Wendy Andreu

Background

Graduated Cum Laude from the Design Academy Eindhoven and Ecole Boulle, Wendy Andreu acquired a strong knowledge in traditional craftsmanship. She won the Rising Talents Award of Maison&Objet 2020, belonging to a new and very promising generation of French designers. 

Signature

In her atelier based in 19th arrondissement of Paris, she develops personal experimental projects as well as commissioned works for public and private clients. In her research, context has as much importance as concept, without forgetting the quality of the making and the pieces’ aesthetic.

Inspiration

Wendy Andreu is fascinated by materials and their technical implementation. She experiments and puts them into practice easily to judge their potential. She finds surprising outcomes that can be translated into functional design proposals. Wendy Andreu also likes to think of bridges between matter, people and space in an open way.
