Both Lea Padovani and Sebastien Kieffer have degrees in furniture design and interior architecture. After collaborating with Noe Duchaufour-Lawrence, they decided to go out on their own and founded Pool in 2010. Their creative studio works on everything from graphic design to furniture or artistic direction.

Pool looks to the worlds of design, art and architecture for inspiration. From Memphis to Roger Tallon and Martin Creed. They ask questions and explore the crossover between objects, images and buildings. Pool creates, expressing meaning and an independent point of view.

Looking to combine function and beauty, emotion and intentions, Pool explores the possibilities of form, material and colour. Working closely with various craftsmen, the look is modern and strong. They employ beautiful materials which invite touch. In their own words, “it all begins with the visual language. We want to tell a story with the least amount of elements possible.”
