The chair’s radical and taut design is refined by subtle details of assembly and turning curves that add lightness to the line. Thickness is kept to a minimum to create a floating sensation, reinforced by the cantilevered seat. The unusual construction evokes an architecture reduced to the essentials, with each component interlocking with the next in a seamless continuity. In walnut, natural or cerused oak, the wood grain is highlighted on each surface and underlines the expressive nature of the material. The wood is warmed by a shiny oil finish.
